Apple Blocked ApplenBerry & SAM Baseband 4.11.08 Unlock Method

Hello all, we got bad news for you. ApplenBerry is very famous in unlocking solutions for iPhones. One of their famous releases is Gevey interposer SIM which allows you to unlock your iPhone 4 on almost every baseband. Gevey interposer SIM got popularity in early 2011 because of iPhone 4 and there is no software unlock solution available for iPhone 4 expect with those which are carrying baseband 1.59.00. With iOS 5, Apple released a new baseband 4.11.08 and thousands of users were locked on this new baseband, so far there is no working solution available for baseband 4.11.08 but couple of days ago a solution popped out of nowhere. Lockstar_Sun SAM unlock method worked on every baseband including hard cookies like 4.11.08 and 4.12.01. ApplenBerry not so surprisingly released their hardware version of unlocks for baseband 4.11.08 and 4.12.01 the very next day.

The company priced Gevey Ultra 5.1 at $50 and sold a method which was supposed to be free and it was free in fact. The company shaped this unlock and started selling it by calling it a permanent unlock solution. Apple not so surprisingly patched their activation servers in order to ban SAM unlock activation. And guess what happened? ApplenBerry issued a statement in which not only they confirmed that their interposer SIM used Lockstar_Sun’s ICCID vulnerability but they also recalled all Gevey Ultra SIM 5.1 units.

Unfortunately, the GEVEY™ Ultra 5.1 for GSM iPhone 4 will no longer unlock the iPhone 4. The unlocking mechanism used in this model was based on Loktar Sun’s discovery of an Apple server logic error that took advantage of an ICCID bug to unlock the iPhone modem firmware. On April 27, Apple fixed this bug.

If you’ve purchased Gevey SIM Ultra 5.1 and you haven’t unlocked your iPhone as yet then we’re extremely sorry to inform you that it won’t work. You can claim your money back, initiate the refund process as soon as possible by contacting ApplenBerry.

There are other interposer SIM manufacturers which are also selling baseband 4.11.08 and baseband 4.12.01 unlocked and we’re certain that they won’t work now because Apple has patch the bug which they exploit to unlock your iPhone.ews for you.
