Adobe Photoshop Tutorial : Turn an image into a Cartoon

In this tutorial i will show you how to turn your image into a cartoon.

1- Open your image in Adobe Photoshop. I am using 50 cent photo in this tutorial, you can download it from below because it is good for the starting.

2- Go to Filter>Blur and Select Gaussian Blur and set the radius to 3.0

3- After that go to Edit>Fade Gaussian Blur, Set the mode to Darken. You can use any other modes for the other effects but for the cartoon effect we use Darken and set the Opacity to 100. If you don’t like your result then lower the opacity will make your result better.

4- Clone your image by pressing ctrl+shift+J or select all>copy>paste.

5- Go to Filter>Artistic>Paint Daubs and change brush size to 1, Sharpness 7 or 8.

6- If the result is not good then change Layer opacity to 60.

7- You are done and below is your final result….
