Hello all! As you know AT&T announced that it began unlocking customer’s iPhones so that they will be able to use it anywhere without needing to use specific carrier. And this news were so great for too many users who live in other countries. But there will be a problem for those who already jailbroken their devices are afraid if they unlocked their devices they will lose untethered jailbreak. But for every problem there is a solution and today i will show you how to unlock your AT&T iPhone without losing untethered jailbreak..
How To Unlock iPhone Without Losing Jailbreak:
STEP 1: First download Redsn0w 0.9.10b6 on your PC/Mac. Below are the download links…
RedSn0w 0.9.10.b6 (Mac): redsnow win 0.9.10b6.zip
RedSn0w 0.9.10.b6 (Windows): redsnow win 0.9.10b6.zip
STEP 2: Now connect your iPhone to the PC/Mac using the USB cable and run Redsn0w.
STEP 3: Press on “Jailbreak” button which will make your iPhone connected in a normal state.
STEP 4: Now you will have to enter your iPhone into DFU mode in order to let Redsn0w recognize your device.
How to enter in DFU mode:
- Press and hold both the Home and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds straight
- Release the Power button while keeping the Home button pressed for 15 to 25 second more. Your iPhone’s screen will now turn black.
STEP 5: Once Redsn0w completes its job, your iPhone will be deactivated and as your iPhone is deactivated remove your SIM card and turn it on back.
STEP 6: Now switch on your iPhone and connect to iTunes and insert your SIM. You should receive an unlock message from iTunes.
